Material Development

Our HR consultants will work with you to develop a Statement of Merit Criteria and candidate assessment tools tailored to the needs of your position. We ensure that all materials drafted are aligned with HR policies, including removal or mitigation of any potential biases and barriers.

Application Screening

Whether you've got a stack of 500 AS-01 applications or 50 EX-01 applications, we will screen candidates against the education and experience criteria and provide you with a complete candidate assessment spreadsheet and detailed notes on each unsuccessful candidate.

Candidate Coordination

We will track every candidate through each stage of the assessment process to ensure that accommodation requests are met, rescheduled assessments aren't missed, and every candidate is accounted for.

Exam Marking

Our HR consultants have a wide range of experience and knowledge that we bring to the table. We will conduct the initial assessment of written exams and meet with you to discuss and finalize the results. Note: some highly technical exams may be outside of our marking ability, please ask us about this if you are hiring for a technical position.

Interview Panel Participation

Often this is an area where it makes the most sense for internal board members to be involved, but if you need extra manpower or have a lot of internal candidates and would like an external third party, we are happy to join you on the interview panel.

Reference Checks

We will do the legwork of collecting references by phone or email and following up with slow-to-respond referees to ensure reference checks are completed in a timely manner. Reference marks will be entered into the candidate assessment spreadsheet and all files ready to submit to HR.

Informal Discussions

Our HR consultants provide high quality feedback and clear information to unsuccessful candidates during informal discussions. Our extensive experience and training in managing difficult conversations helps us to keep conversations calm and productive.

Project Management

We will project-manage your staffing process every step of the way: setting and managing timelines, managing stakeholders, documenting results and ensuring quality deliverables.
